Mrs. Ida Maude Pons Reichert of Lake Butler, died Monday at North Florida Regional Hospital of an extended illness. She was 33.
Mrs. Reichert was born in Gainesville and lived all her life in this area. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1962 and attended the New River Baptist church.

Born in Cleveland, TN, she came to Florida with her parents, predeceased, Jim and Jean Powell. She graduated from Gainesville High School and attended University of Miami. She was Head Majorette for the Hurricanes. She married, traveled, had three children and eventually settled in North Miami Beach, Florida. Rita Forrest Lee, age 66, of Gainesville, FL died Sunday July 4, 2010 in Ormond Beach, FL. She was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on January 30, 1944. Rita moved to Gainesville, FL where she graduated from Gainesville High School Class of 1962. She was a Volunteer Mentor at Myra Terwilliger Elementary School and was involved with Youth Soccer and worked in customer service at The Trophy Shop in Gainesville.

NEWBERRY -- Charles Frank "Butch" Rain died Thursday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 46.
Mr. Rain was born in Miani and spent most of his life in Alachua County. He graduated from Gainesville High School (1962) and the University of Florida, where he received a bachelor's degree in business. Mr. Rail was a real estate appraiser and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a Baptist.
