Rarely a day passes that I fail to remember this most amazing person in my life.  We were friends long before GHS, and when my father died in my junior year, your dad "adopted" me and I was so honored to be one of the "Daughters of Bill, "  and further blessed with new sisters, Vicki, Ann and Sue. I moved home to Gainesville afer Brian died in 1995 and I treasure those healing years with you,  sisters and Carole Ward Bird.  Some of my most precious memories were our "growing old" chats down in the pasture surrounded by your beloved Arabian horses.  I felt so loved, even by challenging Frank the cat! Those wonderful years of healing with your ever-present humor and joyfulness has gotten me though some rough challengees in my life.   I know you are still watching over me and I feel your spirit.  You always called me "Great Face," and I cherish your nick-name as the years of illness and injury have changed it dramatically.  Thank you for loving ALL of me! I moved back to Central Florida to be with grandchildren in late 1999 and we lost you a year later.  You left a big hole in my heart and life, but left me life-lessons that make me a better person.  As a Licensed Lay Minister, I share your astounding intellect, logic, wit amd love.  I wish for every woman to have had a friend like YOU! Until we meet again, my precious sister,  your joy for life sustains me.  I will see you in Heaven with the dogs, cats and horses.  I miss you more every day.  Oh yes, tell Daddy Jim  his car was a hoot!  And to Poppa Bill, I shoud have married him and became your step-mother ..... oh yes, that discussion would be a hit today on YouTube!   I will never forget how he made me smile in the sudden loss of my beloved Brian.  Tell Doc Kirkland his being in my life was the cherished and saving grace  in "that marriage. "   And, I still pray for Nicole. I love you to the moon and back always,                     Lyndie Lou  (you and my modeling partner, Heath Manning, are the only ones EVER allowed to call me that!) face"
