She was born in Gainesville, Florida on July 18, 1944. Sandra graduated from Gainesville High School and received her L.P.N. from Alachua General Hospital.
She was married to Ray E. Dean on September 16, 1967.
Sandra had a career in nursing and worked for Dr. F.L (Lee) Howington for 31 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and had a passion for working with people and her grandchildren.

Hewlett James "Jim" Anderson of Shaker Heights, Ohio, died Sunday in an automobile accident near Wooster, Ohio. He was 40.
Mr. Anderson was born in Thomasville, GA. bu lived most of his life in Gainesville. He was a 1962 graduate of GHS and had attended UF. He moved to Shaker Heights five years ago.
He was the former VP of Suntec Paints in Gainesville and was a regional manager for Sherwin-Williams Co. in Ohio.
Mr. Anderson was a member of Gainesville Rotary club where he served as secretary. He was a Methodist.

Ernest W. Bell Jr. of Punta Gorda, and formerly of Gainesville, died Feb. 14th at Faucett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlott. He was 59.
Mr. Bell was born in Indiana and grew up in Gainesville. He was a graduate of Gainesville High School and attended the University of Florida. He was a retired airline pilot.
He was a former pilot for former UF football coach Ray Graves, and also participated in Operation Desert Storm with Evergreen Airline, transporting troops and supplies.

Gloria was born June 20, 1944 in Miami, Florida to Clarke Robert Carter and Bernice Rue Carter, then moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1948 at the age of 4. A native of Fort Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Seargeant came to Gainesville from Ft. Wayne 35 years ago. She was an office manager.

Nancy Jo Collins Swilley passed away from heart complications in Gainesville, FL on the morning of September 6, 2021, at the age of 77.
