Gainesville - Patricia Anne Trainham Teuton, passed away June 10th, 2021, at UF Health at Shands. She was born December 21st, 1944, in Watertown, New York to parents, Irvin and Virginia Trainham. Pat moved to Gainesville with her family in the 1950's and was a graduate of Gainesville High School. Soon after, Pat became a nurse's aide, and later a licensed practical nurse in pediatrics. She proudly retired from Shands Hospital as a pediatric nurse (Unit 44) after 30 years of faithful and exceptional service.
The 3 things that made our Mother most proud, were being a pediatric nurse, (an accomplishment she achieved while raising her 3 daughters as a single parent), her daughters Melissa, Debbie and Kim, and her 2 precious grandsons, Caden and Trent. Our Mothers love and dedication to her family and daughters was unmatched and never wavered.
Our Mother had a great love and appreciation for music and played the piano beautifully. Many a night was spent entertaining her girls with "Boogie Woogie" and all things ELVIS! Mama's love for the sun and beach surely kept the road well-travelled with our day trips and annual week stays in Daytona every summer. This passion certainly was passed down to us girls and now her grandsons.
Pat was predeceased by her parents and her brother Don Trainham. She is survived by her daughters Melissa "Mo" Cooper, Debbie Wolfe, (and her "favorite Son in Law" Jeff), Kimberly Richburg, precious grandsons Caden and Trent Richburg and special friend Cleveland Davis.
Per our Mothers wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to Shands Children's Miracle Network or to Haven Hospice in our Mothers name.
