Ada Jean Gossett

Ada Jean Jeffords Gossett passed away at Signature Healthcare of Buckhead last Tuesday as a result of a fall in her home in late August. Although she fought valiantly for nearly 10 weeks and showed much improvement, the Lord decided that she was ready to come home on the morning of November 2nd, 2021.
Visitation Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday December 4th at Mowell Funeral Home located at 180 N. Jeff Davis Drive, Fayetteville, GA 30214 followed by a graveside service at Camp Memorial Cemetery also in Fayetteville at 1095 Highway 54 East. Her services will be held in conjunction with her sister Betti Jeffords Philips of Fayetteville, who also passed this week.
Jean was born on September 9, 1944, in Palatka, Florida to Jerry M. Jeffords and Margaret W. Jeffords. Her father was an Army Veteran of WWI and a retired Forestry Supervisor. Her mother worked as an accountant with the University of Florida College of Engineering.
