Dewayne "D" Tucker

February 15, 1944 – October 23, 2021

Lawson “Dewayne” Tucker, 77, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. After a courageous four year battle with cancer, his body had enough. Dewayne will be remembered with love long after his passing. His loved ones will strive to honor his memory by living their lives to the fullest.

Dewayne was a retired Civil Engineer and former CEO of Peninsula Engineering & Testing Company. He had two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida, one in Civil Engineering from 1973, the other in Wildlife Management in 1998, when he furthered his education.

Dewayne is survived by his loving wife, Carole; sister, Dalys Huffman; daughters, Katie Hope, Leah (Tony) Provenson; son, Michael (Jenn) Pastore; his six grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.

A visitation gathering will be held on Thursday, October 28 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida 32955 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 1:00 pm.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Dewayne’s honor.
