Hewlett James "Jim" Anderson of Shaker Heights, Ohio, died Sunday in an automobile accident near Wooster, Ohio. He was 40.
Mr. Anderson was born in Thomasville, GA. bu lived most of his life in Gainesville. He was a 1962 graduate of GHS and had attended UF. He moved to Shaker Heights five years ago.
He was the former VP of Suntec Paints in Gainesville and was a regional manager for Sherwin-Williams Co. in Ohio.
Mr. Anderson was a member of Gainesville Rotary club where he served as secretary. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Anderson of Shaker Heights, a daughter, Dena Anderson of Shaker Heights; a son, James Anderson of Shaker Heights; his parents, Hewlett and Suzy Anderson of Gainesville and a brother, Joe Anderson of Gainesville.
