    Paula Dianne Copeland Reed of Austin, Texas, died Thursday in Austin.  She was 57.
    The former Gainesville resident graduated from Gainesville High School in 1962 and received a degree in education fronm the University of Florida.
    Local survivors include a sister, Marsha Copeland Boyd of Gainesville.
