Kay Scholfield

Kay graduated 1966 from University of Florida where she was a majorette. She received her Masters in Business from the University of TN in 1968. Kay and her husband Fred (Rick) were involved in a head-on collision with a drunk driver at Ft. Rucker, AL. Kay died 7 weeks later at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Miss. She was survived by her husband, Rick, her parents Mr & Mrs. Carl Denney and a brother Carl Denney, Jr.
I met Kay in 1965 and will never forget how dear and beautiful she was. Every year since her death on August 28th, I say a prayer for her. I will never forget her and her tragic death was a loss for all who knew and loved her so very much.
tribute by Doug MorrisIam so sorry to find out about Kay,I have just seen it & I was shocked and sad,Kay and I were very good friends in GHS & I have been out of touch with all my classmates for 50 years until recently.I feel sad about Kay she was a sweet,warm,giving,funny young lady and I had a lot of fun with her,she was part of our small group of good friends, I know how she is missed and I will keep her in my heart always. 4/12/12
