Thomas Albert McKean MCKEAN, THOMAS ALBERT Thomas Albert McKean, age 63, of Apopka, passed away February 29, 2008 in Orlando. Mr. McKean was born on September 16, 1944 in Georgetown, DC, the son of William B. McKean and Mary Dunn McKean. He grew up in Gainesville, FL. He graduated in 1967 from the University of Florida with a degree in advertising, and a lifelong enthusiasm for the Gators. He was a member of Alpha Delta Sigma advertising fraternity for men. He served in the Army Corps of Engineers for four years and was a proud veteran. At the time of his death he was employed by Documed Systems. He was a parishioner of Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, where he was an active Knight of Columbus. Mr. McKean is survived by his wife, Sharon Clark; three children, Erin McKean-Gerharz of Chicago, William Matthew McKean of Jacksonville, FL and Catherine McKean of Brooklyn, NY; one step-son, Todd Fabretti; five grandchildren, Brenna, Bradley and Bridget Fabretti, Henry Gerharz, and Will McKean; five sisters, Sister Mary Faith McKean, Page Zyromski, Judi Glenn, Margaret McKean and Claire Staniunas; and twelve nieces and nephews. He is also mourned by many friends and business aassociates. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, March 10, 2008 at Annunciation Catholic Church on Montgomery Road in Altamonte Springs, FL. Interment will be private.
