*Arthur Merle McNeely Jr. of Micanopy died Wednesday in the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville. He was 59.

Mr. McNeely was born in Ocala and had lived in Gainesville and Micanopy for 32 years. He was the retired parts manager for McKee Motors. He was a Presbyterian.

He is survived by a sister, Ruth McNeely Proctor of Micanopy; and two brothers, John Alan McNeely of Micanopy and Christopher McNeely of Gainesville.
